Mr Dahlan commenced his career as a Civil Litigator many years before he was admitted as a Solicitor. Whilst completing his Bachelor of Arts (Communications) / Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of Technology, Sydney, Mr Dahlan worked as a Paralegal at a prominent civil litigation firm in Sydney.
Mr Dahlan aimed to hone in his practical skills in litigation whilst applying the utmost diligence to his academic career. He soon realised the rewards of committing himself in both work and academia, when he graduated in Law with First Class Honours.
Upon being admitted as a Solicitor, Mr Dahlan commenced work with a leading Compensation Law Firm in Parramatta. In the early part of his career he was mentored by a Partner of the firm with over 28 years’ experience in the field.
After many years of learning from the best Solicitors and Barristers in the field, Mr Dahlan set about establishing Parramatta City Legal. With his dedication, attention to detail and utmost commitment to all clients, the firm experienced rapid growth over the years and continues to prosper.
Mr Dahlan has appeared in the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Compensation Court of New South Wales, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Workers Compensation Commission, Medical Assessment Service and the Claims Assessment & Resolution Service. He has built upon and developed industrious relationships with many leading Junior and Senior Barristers practising in Compensation and Family Law, delivering countless settlements, judgments and verdicts in favour of his clients.

Benjamin Goh began his criminal law career in arguably the toughest legal and social environment in NSW- the Western Aboriginal Legal Service (WALS). Ben represented clients from Dubbo to Broken Hill and many remote towns in between, such as Bourke and Wilcannia. The experience Ben gained at WALS was invaluable and allowed him to appreciate the issues faced by clients from low socio-economic backgrounds who were faced with enormous stress as a result of being charged with a criminal offence.
Whilst working at WALS Ben was invited to an interview with one of Sydney’s leading criminal law firms and thereafter dedicated over 5 years to this firm. He was made an Associate and was on his way to becoming a Partner, instead, Ben chose a different path and co-created Benjamin & Leonardo.
Ben has practised exclusively in criminal law for the last 7 years. He has appeared in the Children’s Court, Local Court, Chief Industrial Magistrates Court, District Court, Drug Court, Coroners Court, Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeal, Pharmacy Board of NSW and Greyhound Racing Authority.
In addition to holding a Law Degree, Ben also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney majoring in Genetics and Microbiology. This scientific understanding is an added advantage in cases which require a proper analysis of complex scientific forensic evidence such as DNA evidence.
He is a volunteer lecturer at the Traffic Offenders Intervention Program at a number of Police Community Youth Clubs in Sydney. He has also lectured doctors at the Australian College of Legal Medicine in relation to topics such as abortion, euthanasia and manslaughter.
Ben is a strong believer in preparation no matter what you are charged with and is driven by getting his clients the best possible result.
